A tendril of Jack and the Beanstalk + a tad of The Frog Prince + a strand of Rumplestiltskin =
a time travel adventure for the ages…

“The messiest kind of trouble,” said the witch, shaking her head unhappily. “All of my beautifully thought-out, educational enchantments ruined. I did warn her...”
“Warn who?”
“The queen! Who else? She begged me to cure your father’s illness, and I knew I shouldn’t have attempted it, because I had already cast my sixth spell, and the odds of a seventh working out well were miniscule at best! But against my better judgment, I tried.
“And now your mother and tailor-prince are trapped who-knows-when-or-where, with no idea what to do to get out of this predicament, and meanwhile, Denebdeor has become the Stone Kingdom once again. Let this be a lesson to us all, Princess: It never pays to break the rules.”
“There will be time enough for lessons after you’ve brought Edgwyn and Mother back,” Rosalba said, eyes narrowing. “Start bringing together the scattered affected, witch. Now.”
The witch folded her arms. “And just how do you propose I do that?”
“Well, if ever there were a time for an eighth spell...!”

A witch’s attempt to cast one spell too many
casts everyone touched by her previous spells into chaos. Scattered throughout each other’s pasts, Sula and Edgwyn, Villem and Rosalba, and the rest of the magic’s affected
have a single chance to break this last enchantment before
their “happily-ever-after”-s cease to have ever been.

An enchantress’s curse turns a spoiled royal into a beast; a princess’s pricked finger places her under a hundred-year spell; bales of straw are spun as golden as the singing harp whisked down a giant beanstalk – all within sight of Wilderhark, the forest that’s seen it all.

You’ve heard the stories – of young men scaling rope-like braids to assist the tower-bound damsel; of gorgeous gowns appearing just in time for a midnight ball; of frog princes, and swan princes, and princes saved from drowning by maidens of the sea.

Tales of magic. Tales of adventure. Most of all, tales of true love.

Once upon a time, you knew them as fairytales. Know them now as Wilderhark’s.
